NORWICH DOJO
Background
The Norwich dojo is run by sensei Tony Green 6th dan now chief instructor for the UK and UK representive of the Jundokan in Okinawa. Tony has taken over from sensei Bob Honiball who is now Shibucho Chief instructor for Lithuania.
Tony began training in Boxing (1969 to 1974), then Judo (1974 to 1977), Kung fu (1977 to 1980).
In 1980 he started Okinawan Goju Ryu under the instruction of Sensei Bob Honiball (now 7th Dan). Tony currently holds the rank of 6th Dan. The dojo has been running since 1979.
Training Our traditional approach to
teaching this practical and realistic self-defence system prmotes health,
fitness and coordination, whilst developing confidence and self
discipline.
Classes are open to men and women over the age of 16.
Beginners and experienced students are always welcome and the first lesson is
free.
