About Eric
I was born 1962 and started training Goju Ryu in 1982 under the instruction of Sensei Keith Pace (goju kai) moving after attaining shodan to the I.O.G.K.F. 2nd / 3rd Dans awarded by Sensei George Andrews.
Now being taught by Sensei's Bob Honiball (Lithuania) + Tony Green (Norwich) I have finally found instructors who teach and train with a full understanding of traditional goju ryu.
In October 2006 I was awarded the rank of 4th dan at the Jundokan So Honbu Dojo (Okinawa).
Meliden dojo was formed in 2006 after sensei Eric moved to Nth Wales from The Wirral were he had a dojo for over 15yrs. Several of his long standing students still travel to Wales weekly to train.
The dojo is situated in a quiet village and is a small and friendly karate club consisting of approx 12 jnrs (all grades) + 6 snrs.
